Munich-based menswear specialist Hirmer opened a new store in Munich Airport‘s Terminal 1.

The 240m² boutique will offer a selection of the brand’s wide assortment, including sportswear, casual wear and accessories from brands such as Hugo Boss, Lacoste, Armani Exchange, Belstaff, Calvin Klein and Tommy hilfiger.

The new opening aims to provide a key location advantage for the family business, with CEO Johannes Ehling noting: “Hirmer’s original store is famous far beyond Munich. Our new store at Munich Airport marks the first time that Hirmer has moved away from the heart of downtown Munich.

“The airport, Munich’s gateway to the world, allows us to reach a large international clientele and will further strengthen our visibility. Travel and fashion go hand in hand, whether for business or personal reasons.

Jan-Henrik Andersson, Commercial Director and Director of Security at Munich Airport added: “We are proud to have added Hirmer, a true Munich original, to our range of airports.

“With this store, the tradition-steeped menswear expert is opening an attractive window for customers from all over the world in the heart of Munich Airport. At the same time, travelers, hosts and guests of employees and visitors to Bavaria and Munich Airport will also benefit from the new store. “
