Fashion is something that comes from within. A classic example of this is Santwinder Singh Waraich who claims to be the first influencer in Sikh fashion. Based in Chandigarh, he is a fashion mentor as well as an international model. The way he behaves, whether in traditional or western attire, has a big impact on young people around the world. It has gained great notoriety among the biggest brands in India. Some of the branding campaigns he’s worked on include Skechers India, Flying Machine, Daniel Wellington, Superdry, Jack & Jones, and several other sports and nutrition brands.

Very young, Santwinder accomplished a lot. He was born on November 17, 1992 in Fatehgarh Sahib. Her father Gurnam Singh is a farmer and her mother Harwinder Kaur is a housewife. He has two siblings, an older sister and a younger brother. Their childhood is spent in a village because of their father’s farming profession. However, their mother made the choice to move to Chandigarh to give them a good education. Singh graduated from high school at Guru Nanak Public School and then attended Punjab Technical University to study civil engineering.

Who knew that life had other plans for him? In his twenties, he realized that his passion lay in the fashion industry. He considers his mother a great inspiration in his journey as a fashion influencer. He started his blogging career while in college. Having a unique style, many of her classmates followed the fashion advice of this Sikh fashion expert. On April 14, 2014, he introduced himself as a fashion blogger on Instagram and received a great response. There has been no turning back for him since then.

In such a short time, he has won many feats. He has been featured in the world’s largest wedding magazine, Asiana International Wedding Magazine and has also featured in several publications like ScoopWhoop, MensXP and India Today to name a few. Santwinder Singh Waraich was also named one of the 13 Best Desirable Men in Chandigarh.

While he has 122,000 subscribers on Instagram, his YouTube channel has more than 170,000 subscribers. Well that’s what the fashion industry gave this man. Speaking of the style he believes in, “The style is a reflection of your own attitude and personality” and we totally agree with him.
