Fashion company calls for tenders for distribution center in British Columbia

A Canadian fashion company is launching a regional job call as its peak sales period approaches.

Aritzia offers up to 400 seasonal positions at its New Westminster distribution center in hopes of providing opportunities for those in need of employment during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The establishment is a stone’s throw from the Tri-Cities and its Coquitlam Center Mall, where it opened in November 2019 according to the company’s Facebook page.

Since the start of the pandemic, retail stores have continued to push despite a labor shortage and subsequent demand for more jobs.

“The everyday luxury of Aritzia begins with how we improve the work environment for our employees, including compensation, well-being and advanced care, as well as bonus benefits,” the company said. in a press release sent to News from the three cities.

The seasonal work period is listed from September 27 to December 31, 2021 and, according to Aritzia, wages are expected to start at $ 21 an hour.
