Some pretty amazing vehicles have been parked in the Grasso garage, from the Acura TSX supercar, mid-engined Corvette and McLaren GT, to the BMW X7 SUV. But when it comes to luxury sedans, the Bentley Flying Spur is the best luxury sedan I have ever reviewed.
Bentley, the exclusive Volkswagen brand, leading Porsche in its range, has produced the new Flying Spur. An ultra-luxurious and flawless sedan that exceeds the definition of class. Our Dragon Red exterior showed up; Paired with a beluga leather interior, carbon fiber veneer, and 22-inch 10-double-spoke black wheels, this sedan was flawless.
With over $ 80,000 in options included on our tester, this base-priced $ 196,000 luxury land yacht isn’t for all consumers. The Flying Spur could be the most beautiful vehicle on the road. Over 40 exterior color options and half the number of interior plating and leather combinations confirm that the Flying Spur isn’t your typical cruiser, but it certainly won’t be duplicated.
The powertrain is no secret to the Bentley team, an explosive “W12” V-12 engine is available, which claims a 3.5 second time from zero to 60, but ours came with the V8 engine. biturbo offering 542 generous horsepower and 569 horsepower. lb-ft of torque and half a second slower from zero to 60 strokes. Moving the vehicle around 5,400 pounds was not a problem as it picked up speed quickly and easily.
Where the Flying Spur shows its true luxury is inside. The seats are amazing. There is no lack of comfort or elegance; the Flying Spur was a stopper show. Remember that this vehicle is most likely the one in which you are a passenger, without necessarily driving it.
The contrast stitching is also a great offset feature of the interior, as it really highlights the beluga skin interior.
For the upper class, this standard is not unusual and neither is the endless list of options. These include the Bentley audio system, the Touring package, the panoramic sunroof with vanity shades and mirrors, the Blackline package, the ambient lighting specs and the red painted brake calipers, which are not than a few to say the least.
When it comes to the extreme upper class, Bentley still emerges as a serious contender. It simply means that elegance and luxury are defined, but above all shows it, with its exceptional attention to detail in every part of the vehicle. If this market interests you, the Flying Spur should definitely be in your garage.
