A local fashion company that creates hope for future generations

MILWAUKEE – In August 2016, Sherman Park was a battleground.

“When you feel like no one is there for you and you’re stuck in a corner, you’re going to react. That’s what it was, it was a reaction of years and years without. that no one thought they cared about us, ”said Travis, one of the creators of No Fingerprints.

From these ashes was born Sherman Phoenix, a sanctuary in the park.

It was the perfect place to discover No Fingerprints clothing.

“Honestly, it just happened with a group of friends trying to find a way to stay together. It works,” said Chaz, another designer for the clothing line.

Growing up in 414, the group of men behind the line saw it all.

“We grew up in this community. We saw the ups and downs of this community. And we saw when it was up, why it was,” Travis said.

Wanting to keep their city in place is the reason no fingerprints exist.

“Before we produced any garment, we said to find a way to explain to people why we call it No Fingerprints. That’s how the mission was born. To provide today’s generation with design. and top notch fashion reminding them “you don’t have to leave ‘negative’ fingerprints to determine who you are as a person, it takes strength, determination, hard work and passion to be successful” , said Chaz.

Through shirts, hats and joggers, No Fingerprints has sewn the fabric into something more than fashion.
